Affiliate of an International Network of Leading Sports Medicine Surgeons

“Sportsclinic Austria GmbH” is the first affiliate of the Sports Medicine Excellence Group, an international network of leading sports medicine surgeons with offices in the United States and Switzerland.

Sports Medicine Excellence and its international network of surgeons operate in accordance with a rigorous set of Guiding Principles and Code of Conduct. 

Sports Medicine Excellence conducts a complete and disciplined selection process to identify its affiliates.  The first affiliate selected is Sportsclinic Austria GmbH because of the reputation and commitment to quality and evidence-based surgery of the two founding internationally recognized orthopaedic surgeons, Prof. Dr. Christian Fink and Dr. Christian Hoser.

Both Drs. Fink and Hoser are an integral part of the strategy for creating a European network of leading sports medicine surgeons who have built their practices on the most advanced technology, surgical technique and timely information provided to consumers and patients. 

Drs. Fink and Hoser have been the principals in a distinguished orthopaedic group practice in Innsbruck for seven years. Until June 2007 when they left to found Sportsclinic Austria GmbH, they held leading positions at the University Hospital for Traumatology and Sports Medicine in Innsbruck.

The clinic operated by Drs. Fink and Hoser will be the foundation upon which Sportsclinic Austria GmbH will expand to provide an even broader range of services.
